AI Engineer

AIREV Emerging Center is a Karachi-based AI training, consulting, and product development organization. Operating through programs.airev.pk, AIREV bridges the gap between enterprise-grade AI technology and real-world industrial operations. Our core mission is to deliver AI as a Service (AIaaS) to manufacturers, corporates, and large industrial units — transforming how Pakistan's industrial sector works, decides, and grows.

We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded AI Engineer to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of AI product development, client-facing consulting, and solution deployment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in selling and delivering AI-powered solutions to industrial clients across Karachi's key manufacturing corridors — beginning with Korangi Industrial Area, Landhi, EPZ, and Bin Qasim — with planned expansion across S.I.T.E. and the broader Karachi industrial zone.

The AI Engineer will work across the full client lifecycle: understanding client pain points, designing AI-driven solutions, deploying them via programs.airev.pk, and ensuring measurable ROI for each engagement.

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and automation tools tailored to industrial and corporate clients
• Develop AI agents, workflow automation, data pipelines, and NLP/ML models using state-of-the-art frameworks
• Integrate AI solutions with existing client systems (ERP, logistics platforms, CRM, inventory management)
• Build and maintain client-facing tools on or connected to programs.airev.pk

• Work closely with the business development team to identify and qualify AI use cases at client sites
• Conduct discovery sessions, technical assessments, and solution scoping with industrial clients
• Prepare proposals, proof-of-concept (PoC) demos, and technical presentations for prospective clients
• Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, business-relevant value propositions for non-technical decision-makers

• Lead end-to-end deployment of AI solutions at client premises (manufacturers, factories, corporate offices)
• Conduct user onboarding, training, and handover sessions for client teams
• Monitor solution performance post-deployment and iterate based on client feedback
• Document all implementations, configurations, and SOPs for internal knowledge management

• Operate as a field-facing technical resource across Korangi Industrial Area, Landhi, EPZ, and Bin Qasim
• Build relationships with plant managers, IT heads, operations directors, and procurement teams
• Identify expansion opportunities and contribute insights to the Phase 2 rollout into S.I.T.E. and other industrial zones

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Equivalent practical experience with a strong demonstrable portfolio will be considered

• Proficiency in Python; experience with ML/AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Experience building and deploying AI agents, automation workflows, or LLM-powered applications
• Familiarity with REST APIs, database integration (MySQL / PostgreSQL), and web-based deployment environments
• Understanding of NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, or generative AI — at least one domain in depth
• Ability to deploy on shared hosting or cloud environments (Linux, cPanel/Hostinger, AWS, or equivalent)

• Strong verbal communication in both Urdu and English (client meetings conducted in both languages)
• Ability to present AI concepts clearly to non-technical industrial audiences
• Comfortable working in field environments — factory floors, warehouses, industrial offices

• Prior experience delivering B2B technology or SaaS solutions to Pakistani industrial clients
• Understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or logistics workflows
• Experience with PHP-based web systems (a plus, given our existing stack)
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude API, prompt engineering, or agentic AI design patterns
• Knowledge of Karachi's industrial geography — Korangi, SITE, Bin Qasim, EPZ, Landhi

This role requires a blend of office-based development work and field-facing client visits across Karachi's key industrial zones.
